2008 AmeriCorps Closing Ceremony!

The 2008 AmeriCorps Closing Ceremony will be held on May 14, 2008 at Devils Lake , near Baraboo , WI . The event begins at 9:00 a.m. and members will be engaging in volunteer service in the Park.  In addition there will be guides discussing the flora and the fauna of the Lake area.  The program will end at 3:00 p.m.

bulletNational Association of Service and Conservation Corps (NASCC) contact Chris Rooney at 1-800-456-1415. Since Serve Wisconsin is a member of NASCC, AmeriCorps programs can access the health insurance plan without needing to join NASCC.

*SRC and NASCC are the two more commonly used policies by Wisconsin AmeriCorps programs. A couple of organizations use their own health care providers, but SRC and NASCC offer plans that cover the minimum requirements at a reasonable rate. Serve Wisconsin doesn't endorse any particular provider; we're just concerned that the policy cover the minimum requirements outlined in the AmeriCorps regulations.

BPAO provides SSA beneficiaries with disabilities access to work incentives planning and assistance services.
